He was told by many that his life wouldn't amount to anything, however, Tommie Mabry surprised not only those who doubted him but has even exceeded his own expectations. He shares his inspiring story in the new book A DARK JOURNEY TO A LIGHT FUTURE, and Conversations Book Club will be hosting a book-signing for the Mississippi native on
Saturday, April 21, 2012.
"Tommie's journey is one that people of all walks of life can not only relate to but root for," says Cyrus Webb, book club President. "It's an honor to introduce him to Rankin County and let others know what is possible with hard work and dedication."
